1. Eligibility Requirements
To rent a vehicle from the Company, the Lessee must have:
- Minimum age 23 years old and have a valid driving license. All drivers must present a full valid driving license and a valid identity card or passport. All drivers must hold their full license for a minimum of 1 year.
2. Vehicle Details and Replacement Rights
- Reservations: All reservations are made by vehicle category, not by specific model. In case of unavailability, a vehicle from the same or a higher category will be provided at no additional charge to the Lessee.
3. Young Driver Surcharge
A Young Driver Surcharge of € 18 euro per day applies to drivers aged 23-25. This surcharge is in addition to the daily rental rate.
4. Rental Period and Extension Policy
- Extensions: Extensions may be requested at least 12 hours in advance, subject to availability and an additional daily rental charge.
5. Rental Charges and Payment Terms Security Deposit
Security Deposit: For rentals upon receipt of the car a guarantee amount of 500 euro included VAT will be held on the driver's credit/debit card The amount of the deposit that will be returned at the end of the rental, as long as no other charges are provided. The amount of the deposit will be returned in full at the end of the rental, as long as no other charges are incurred. The release of the amount can take up to 14 days depending on the issuing bank of the card
- Payment Methods: Accepted via major credit cards, debit cards, or cash, with a credit card required as a guarantee even for cash payments.
- Additional Charges:
- Accident Processing Fee (IAF): €30, non-refundable, applies in case of an accident.
- Late Return Fee: If the vehicle is returned more than 1 Hour past the scheduled time, an additional day’s rental at the current daily rate will apply.
6. Insurance and Liability Coverage
- Personal Accident Insurance (PAI): Provides coverage up to € 10,000 for Lessee injury, disability, or death while driving.
Damage Waiver CDW Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces the renters liability in the event of damage or theft of the vehicle when no responsible third party is identified. If CDW is not included in the reservation, it is available for purchase at the rental counter. If CDW is not included in the rental or CDW is declined, the renter will be liable for the total cost of damages to the vehicle or the full value of the vehicle in case of loss or theft. Before purchasing CDW, it is advised to determine if personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage, or impound fees. If CDW is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. CDW is not insurance
- Excess Waiver Options:
- Basic Insurance (CDW): excess reduction to 800 euro with Vat. Cost 20.90 euro per day
- Lost Keys: All vehicle keys are immobilizer keys, with one spare available. Lessee must immediately inform the Company of any key loss. Replacement and delivery costs to Milos are charged to the Lessee.
- Traffic Fines: The renter is responsible for paying all traffic fines that may occurred during the car rental. Ιf the renter wants help to pay the fine reservation team in adamas will help you In case the renter does not pay the fines, there will be an Administration Fee of 20€ additional to the fine’s cost.
7. Additional Driver Policy
- Eligibility: Additional drivers must meet the same qualifications as the primary Lessee.
- Daily Fee: €3,90 (with VAT 24%) for each additional driver, with a maximum of three additional drivers permitted.
8. Optional Equipment
- Child Safety Seat: Available at 4.90 euro per day.
(The child safety seat is for children aged 9 months to 4 years old (10-36 kg).)
- Booster Seat : Available at 4.90 euro per day
(The booster seat is for children aged 4-11 years who are less than 135 cm in height.)
- Baby Seat: Available at 4.90 euro per day
The baby seat is for children aged 0-12 months (0-13 kg).
- Snow Chains: Available at €10 per day, up to a maximum of €50 per rental.
9. After-Hours Service
You must select it at the beginning of the reservation. If you forgot to select it and want to add it to the reservation, you can send us an email at info@trinitycars.gr for approval. The charge for the out-of-operating hours service is 19.90 EUR included VAT 24%.
10. Roadside Assistance and Exclusions
- 24/7 Roadside Protection: Exclusions: Exhausted battery jump-start, refueling service in case of immobilization of the vehicle due to accidental run out of fuel tank, lost or damaged vehicle key, on-site assistance in case of tire breakdowns, towing service, forced unlocking of the vehicle if the keys are locked inside the vehicle.
- Non-Asphalt Road Use: Lessee will be liable for towing costs up to € 150 if the vehicle becomes immobilized on non-asphalt roads, voiding roadside protection in cases of prohibited or incorrect use.
- This cover does not apply in case of violation of the Rental Terms and Conditions or if the wrong fuel has been added to the car
11. Vehicle Use and Restrictions
- Fuel Policy: Renters must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at the time of pick up. If the vehicle is not returned with the same level of fuel the renter will be charged a refuelling service charge based upon the fuel used.
- Return Condition: Applies upon return the vehicle needs cleaning beyond the usual to prepare for the next rental. The biological cleaning fee is €100 with Vat 24%. For cases where we need to clean a seat, a child's seat and not the entire living room, the charge is €50 with vat24%.
- Prohibited Uses: The Lessee agrees not to:
- Drive on unpaved roads or engage in off-road activities.
- Use the vehicle commercially or allow unauthorised drivers.
- Ignore warnings (e.g., dashboard alerts) or use the wrong fuel.
- Additional Cleaning Charge:
- Applies upon return the vehicle needs cleaning beyond the usual to prepare for the next rental. The biological cleaning fee is €100 with Vat 24%. For cases where we need to clean a seat, a child's seat and not the entire living room, the charge is €50 with vat24%.
12. Accidents, Damage, and Theft
- Accident Reporting: Lessee must notify both the Company and local authorities immediately in the event of an accident and provide all necessary documentation.
- Theft Reporting: Lessee must report theft immediately, providing the keys and a police report; failure to do so may void insurance.
- Damage Liability: If the vehicle is damaged or lost, the Lessee is responsible for associated costs unless protected by CDW. Costs include repairs, towing, storage, and necessary cleaning or reconditioning charges.
13. Cancellation Policy
- Advance Notice: Cancellations made 3 days before the rental period are fully refundable.
14. Delivery and Collection
This location offers delivery and collection service during operating hours.. For deliveries and collections a flat charge of 19.90 EUR with VAT applies and should pay locally.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Greece, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thessaloniki, Greece.
16. Privacy Policy and Data Processing
By signing this Agreement, the Lessee consents to the Company processing their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy provided at the time of rental.
17. Acknowledgment and Agreement
By completed payment -reservation the Lessee agrees to all terms and confirms they have read and understood the Agreement.
